	教会唯一的根基 The Church’s One Foundation
1	教会唯一的根基 是主耶稣基督 蒙主恩重新创立 栽培浇灌祝福 The Church’s one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord, She is His new creation By water and the Word. 主从天上来寻她 为主圣洁新妇 舍身流血的代价 坚立永远基楚 From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died.
2	虽从万邦选出来 信徒都从一体 教会合一的根据 一主、一信、一洗 Elect from every nation, Yet one o’er all the earth; Her charter of salvation, One Lord, one faith, one birth; 同尊唯一的圣名 同餐唯一天粮 同怀唯一的希望 同蒙恩爱久长 One holy Name she blesses, Partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued.
3	虽她经历了艰辛 受人讥笑毁谤 内争分裂了她身 异端叛逆中伤 ’Mid toil and tribulation, And tumult of her war, She waits the consummation Of peace forevermore; 圣徒焦虑对问说 黑夜到底多长 哭泣即将变歌声 转瞬便见晨光 Till, with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest, And the great Church victorious Shall be the Church at rest.
4	她虽在地却联合 真神三位一体 已享安息的众圣 奥秘永恒团契 Yet she on earth hath union With God, the Three in One, And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won, 直到欲穿的望眼 看见光荣家乡 到时凯旋的教会 得享安乐无疆 O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we Like them, the meek and lowly, On high may dwell with Thee.
